Wouldn't it be great, if no-one ever got offended?
Wouldn't it be great, to say what's really on your mind?
I've always said, all the rules are made for bending,
And if I let my hair down, would that be such a crime?

Donnie doesn't record on Ridge Records, I suppose. Tam, I'm sure you've heard of Blair. The AAA with Blair in Denmark playing Skye is the most amazing accordian I've ever heard.

I daresay this subject has already been well covered in the Other Music section but for those who don't know, Blair has the most amazing CD out on the Ridge label at the moment called "Stay Strong". The CD features guest appearances by many leading Scottish and non-Scottish artists, including Eddi Reader, Rory MacDonald, Malcolm Jones and Bruce Guthro amongst others. The CD has been a fixture in my car since it arrived. I am particularly partial to the third track - Lewis Love featuring some familiar sounding vocals and guitar work. Blair's cajun connections show through quite strongly too.

Take a listen:

Blair Douglas pre-dates Donnie Munro as a member of RR. Indirectly Blair Douglas's mum was responsible for the foundation of RR - she wanted a band.....
