Re: Never did like Chris Evans - damn cheek

A wee bit harsh Bluejay, I'm not a huge fan of the guy either but at least he seemed like he was genuinly interested, and also to turn up at the show later that night says alot for him.

Re: Cambridge

Apparently Chris Evans was at this one, after he'd had Calum on the Breakfast Show that morning. If that's not showing support then I don't know what is.

Re: Do you like 'The Story'?

Actually folks, I've played it 6 times, more than enough to say that I DO like it! I have returned it because the sound quality is not good. I have about 1500 cds so I know what good sound production is like, actually, thank you, and this does sound 'mushy'. I mentioned that another guy on Amazon a...

Re: Edinburgh Usher Hall 13 Feb

Lol, indeed they are the view of one person Gary, I perhaps should have said in my post that some may have felt different about the gig, what I saw was how I interpreted it to be, that of course is not to say that I am correct, its certainly not to say that I am wrong, its simply just an opinion and...

Re: Edinburgh Usher Hall 13 Feb

By all means Highlander, the usual standard of Runrig's performance on all dates of this Scottish tour hasn't diminished, that quite frankly goes without saying, however, I don't believe to be wrong or incorrect in my analysis of the Aberdeen gig. It may well have been some teething issues with this...

Re: Dundee Caird Hall

You felt it too DT huh, I'm glad that I'm clearly not the only one who felt this way, I thought I was going mad. The sound, like has been mentioned wasn't great at AMH either to be honest, I found Brian's keyboards quite often getting lost in the mix and Bruce seemed to be drowned out now and again,...

Re: The story (Limited Collectors Box Set)

I had my suspicions about this product being a cheap rip off and it seems that your post has indeed confirmed my feelings. My issue with this is that it could be anyone trying to make a quite buck and I certainly don't believe it to be something that is heavily endorsed by the band - I mean, why wou...

Re: Aberdeen Music Hall - 10 Feb 16

Dont get me wrong jamdons it was a fantastic night and its sooo good to have the band back again, the set was magic, the biggest set shake up in a long time was a real treat but my feeling regarding the inpression i got from the band i cant seem to shake off. The exact quote escapes me but have it o...

Aberdeen Music Hall - 10 Feb 16

I've had to think long and hard since leaving this gig to try and figure out what it was that felt different about last night to any other show ive been to, something and im not sure what just didnt sit right with me and i sensed perhaps a little bit of dischord within the band, whether or not im im...

Re: Do you like 'The Story'?

Anyone else noticed that re "Somewhere" and the words in the book from NASA astronaut Commander Laurel Clark that Monday February 1st 2016 will be the 30th anniversary of the loss of the Colombia Space Mission craft on re-entry. Don't think that its as far back as that, nevertheless a ver...

Did anyone who has listened to the new album notice the rather fitting tribute to Laurel Clarke at the end of somewhere.

Re: Has anyone said *why* this is the final album?

Calum and Rory said on Scotland Tonight that it just feels like a natural and 'right' thing to do and also, in not so many words, said that it was getting harder to come up with fresh material that a machine such as Runrig demands. Truth be it though, it has been almost 9 years since Everything You ...
