If the midgies are removed by sprays or sterilisation, the creatures that eat them or eat the things that eat them starve. Bird populations etc crash. T. Don't worry about birds, Trinity! There are low numbers of insect eating birds in the Highlands because there are few nesting habitats for them. ...

Had a great night at Pitlochry on Saturday night watching Callum Iain on fiddle & accordion, Malky on accordian and a bloke on a snare drum, followed by Skerryvore. Malky was low profile as always in these dance music sessions but Callum Iain was hilarious even though I hardly understood a word ...
