The Story (Limited Premium Edition)

Apologies in advance if this topic has been covered before. If it has, I can't find it! I ordered Limited Premium Edition of the CD alongside the Limited Collectors Box from Amazon Germany when they first became available. However, I am wondering whether to cancel the LPE as I can't see what the dif...

Re: RUNRIG FIRST NEW CONCERT 2016

I really don't get this idea that the band owe us something for our loyalty and all the miles we've travelled in the past but we're never going to agree on that so I'll back out of the debate.

Re: RUNRIG FIRST NEW CONCERT 2016

What did you want Bine? A concert in your backyard and front row tickets for Edinburgh handed to you personally on a plate by Rory and Calum Sorry to say so, but this is nonsense. I've never had a concert practically in my backyard. The smallest distance I ever had to travel was 60 km for a venue d...

Re: RUNRIG FIRST NEW CONCERT 2016

After having taken two days off for the presale and then the regular sale, only to learn that 3 seconds after the sales started, only seats with a very poor view were available, I must admit that I was slightly annoyed. And the tour venues in DK plus the German dates did nothing to cheer me. What d...

This is not "a business". It is "their" business and they are entitled to run it how they want to. If that means concentrating on other projects or moving in to semi-retirement then so be it. It's up to them. We do not own them. What update would you have them give us if there is...

Re: New album speculation

I know we all want info on the new album - me as much as anyone - but why all the gnashing of teeth and stomping of feet? This is TYPICAL Runrig! They make a ridiculously optimistic announcement re a new album then it goes quiet for a year. Nothing new there so far. Iain posts on social media that h...

Re: New album speculation

It's gone awfully quiet on the Runrig news front. Has anyone heard or seen any updates re work on the new album?

The only "news" items I've seen have been new Bruce tour dates so all we know at present is when the band AREN'T touring!

Yes - both delivered from Amazon this morning. Cost me less than £26 with free supersaver delivery. Sorry Runrig but this time the price of loyalty was too much.

I had the same reaction but Cambrige Corn Exchange box office told me yesterday that the front row for this show is row H! Go figure ....

Couldn't agree more mort's cap. Just didn't want Spud to be disappointed when he got there - or anyone to be misled by the row numbers.

Re: NEW SPRING TOUR

I went to Sheffield City Hall's site this morning and got row D (4 from the front), only £2.75 booking fee and free postage. I'm glad I waited. Spud The front row in Sheffield is AA so you are 7 rows from the front. It goes AA - BB - CC - A - B - C - D and so on. You can download a detailed seating...

Re: The Great Queue Screw Up

I would like to add a word of praise for the courtesy and good nature of the people towards the front of the queue as they were walked up to the castle in those final few minutes before the "gates" opened. Getting on a bit, unable to stand for long and walking with a stick after an injury...

Re: Bruce, Scottish Show.

Well, as a matter of fact these weren't the only shows that never appeared on the website. There are at least two shows Bruce has actually played this year (Idar Oberstein and Jelling Festival) that until now never got any mention neither in the *on stage* section nor somewhere else by any official...
