Mum had been playing The Cutter and the Clan in the house and Long distance in the car, I recognized Loch Lomond as it was one of the songs we had to sing in primary school. I was sat in the car with her going to Parents Evening at...

Re: Party On The Moor - Support/"Special Guests"

A) Play the ceilidh on the Friday night? Well, Runrig started out at a ceilidh band didn't they, a real return to the roots would be good! B) Play before the band on Saturday? Skerryvore, Coast, Mànran, Red Hot Chilli Pipers all would be great! C) Join the band on stage? As for joining them on stag...

Re: This Time Of Year 2013

Great idea :) Much better than the rubbish in the charts at Christmas/ the charts in general. If "Gangnam Style" can be a number one I suggest Runrig seriously consider getting something in Gaelic into the charts again. Alba or Sona for example. Gangnam Style has proven that it doesn't mat...

Haven't read it yet Davey but I intend to. I've been told the first book out of the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy is the best one and that the other two are rather more tame in comparison! I have read them, (3 books in under 2 weeks, new record for me!) and yes, the first one is rather 'descri...
